ProTrax empowers you in cataloging your CD, WAV and MP3 audio files. It includes one of the best rippers ever (AudioGrabber), an MP3Checker, and it has hooks into a converter program that helps you convert files encoded in the alternate fruit formats to uniform mp3s. As part of our cataloging in our library database, tags can be automatically attached and updated with missing information. The real strength of this product is the professional music scheduler that has been converted and enhanced from a commercial broadcast music scheduler used by Radio Stations across the US. It also includes an advance Studio Player that has been designed specifically to deliver hours of the unique playlists and fits with ease into the office environment configurations. Export of ordered playlists and audio files to mp3 devices are accomplished by preserving our professional scheduled playlist order that has been carefully crafted from only your music. Hence, Only your Music, Only your Way. Other portable audio device synchronization is included and export of generated playlists under several industry standards is provided. Just one of the surprise inclusions is the ability to seamlessly insert a pod cast anywhere ordered in the playlist. It also includes what it calls a PEP (personal enrichment program), which happened to be a German language lesson in our demo. It appears to break new ground in the personal entertainment features that it inherits from its broadcast industry heritage.
